Snowy Cheeseman Pictures

So there was still snow on the ground this afternoon when I decided to go for a walk in Cheeseman Park, about 5 blocks away from me. I took my camera and here are the results, sadly nothing really exciting happened there.

More strange dreams

It's snowing! And at the moment I have nothing planned for the day. Here's a few pictures from Jamie on our trip out west as well as a from our little party at Murphy's, that I haven't linked to yet.

Road Trip

Murphy's (please excuse the sappy pictures here, they made us)

I've recently realized that one of the downsides to living alone is that you don't have anyone to tell your strange dreams to when you wake up in the morning. I've had a couple of them recently so here they are.

I dreamed that Brian's friend Davis was having a birthday party, there were a ton of people there including a bunch of my friends. Anyway in my dream Davis was this amazing ballroom dancer. He asked me to dance and he was the best leader I'd ever danced with, at the end he did this crazy spinning move and I was so dizzy I had to sit down for like 10 minutes. Ok so it's not a particularly funny dream, but atleast it's short :).

My other dream included a guy I used to work with, Ben. He was an IT guy but in my dream he was also a trained surgeon, though not practicing. Anyway, I'd decided that I was going to donate a kidney, just for the fun of it. In my dream taking out a kidney required two operations. The dream started while I was having the first, they'd given me only a local anesthetic. Sorry to gross you out but, I could actually feel the scalpel going into my lower back. I'm not sure what I thought that first surgery did but here I was with a cut in my back but still had both kidneys. So they were going to knock me out for the second surgery, but I was starting to have doubts. They'd injected me with the knockout drug and were waiting for me to fall asleep. I remember thinking why am I donating a kidney to someone I don't even know? This doesn't make sense. What if I need a kidney later? You'd think I would have thought of this earlier, but it's a dream, oh well. Anyway so for the rest of the dream I'm struggling to stay awake and terrified that I'll pass out before I get the chance to tell Ben that I don't want him to remove my kidney afterall.

Scary huh?
